Elberfeld, IN – September 4, 2024 – Carey Springs Farm, the brainchild of esteemed educator and former administrator Dr. Cathy Carey, is set to open its gates on September 24, 2024. Located conveniently in Elberfeld, Indiana, just a short drive from Evansville, the farm promises to be a hub of innovative leadership, team development, and equine-assisted learning.

Cathy Carey, PhD, brings a wealth of experience as a dynamic leader and educator from her tenure at USI and WKU. Her passion for both education and horses is successfully woven together through CSF Team Dynamics and Leadership Coaching at Carey Springs Farm, LLC, where she integrates her team development and leadership programs with the unique learning opportunities horses provide. Dr. Carey’s approach includes proven techniques and tools that ensure informative and enjoyable sessions, resulting in outstanding participant outcomes.

Joining her will be Bruce Carey, Co-Owner of Carey Springs Farm; Kat Draughon, Owner and CEO at Parker’s Place Equine and Farm Services LLC; Misty Wathen-Baker, Owner of The Bridges Program and Gentle Hooves Riding Academy; and Sky Epperson, Owner of the Mustang Adoption Academy.
